I’ve been creating and telling stories for as long as I can remember. These days, I work as a professional storyteller, bringing stories to life.

I have been writing compelling stories for not for profit and community organisations since 1995, beginning with SIDS and Kids and Red Nose Day. I have since worked with Cancer Council SA, Novita Children’s Services, Organ and Tissue Donation Authority, Minda Inc, Guide Dogs SA/NT, Leveda and most recently, Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The stories I have crafted have been used across print and online, on websites and for fundraising direct mail campaigns.

My work has raised record amounts and won awards. Guide Dogs SA/NT’s ‘Little Girl, Big Dreams’ campaign (Tax Time 2013) was recently recognised in the Fundraising Institute Australia Awards as a finalist and recipient of the Highly Commended Award in the Renewal Mail category. The Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Welcome Booklet for the ‘Big Hearts, Little Hands’ campaign recently took word and web to the finals of the Brilliant Biz Mums Awards.

word and web’s Storyteller Service delivers authentic and engaging messages using real life client or customer stories.

My not for profit clients use storytelling to great effect, especially as a fundraising strategy. Stories that resonate and connect are proven to motivate people to offer support via donations, regular giving, bequests or volunteering.

Well-told stories communicate the unique strengths and value of any organisation, in any industry sector. Ask about how word and web will work with you to find stories that celebrate achievements, engage your audience and inspire action.
